The light and easy to use Frontier pro Filter from Aquamira easily slips into a daypack, waist pack or travel luggage and is ready when you need it.

Carry it on a multi-day backpacking trip, traveling to other counties or as part of your food storage. This filter can replace the need for larger pump filters as it has a 2 stage filtration system built in. For maximum protection, the Frontier can be used in conjunction with chemical treatments for effective and efficient household protection.

The frontier Pro can be used in a number of ways, it comes with a few attachments.

1) Attach it to a Camel back water holder. This means you can fill your camel back with river water attach the frontier pro and drink as normal. the frontier pro has a bite valve to stop the water from pouring out unless your drinking.

2) The Frontier Pro can screw onto most drinks bottles, so if you find a discarded coke bottle on the floor it can be washed out and filled with river water/ or indeed any fresh water source, attach the frontier pro and drink. this makes the frontier pro one of the most versatile water filters in the world.

3) If you have nothing else to hand you can simply place the frontier pro directly into a fresh water source and drink.

Like a Frontier Filter on Steroids, the Frontier Pro filter boasts more than double the capacity of the original Frontier Filter with out doubling the size. The ultra-light (2oz. dry) and compact (6.75in3) design is less than half the weight and takes up less than half the space of a typical “pump” type filter system. All of this performance in a package the size of a compact flashlight that fits easily into the smallest of pockets.

Two step filtration is the key to making a high capacity filter system so compact and light weight. Increased surface area, flow control vanes, and the addition of our replaceable pre-filter disks allows the Frontier Pro to handle even turbid water without choking up. The replaceable pre-filter disk removes larger water bourn particles that would foul the microfilter quickly. Because extra disks are included with the Frontier Pro, they can be replaced or even “doubled up” to improve the life of the filter. The Aquamira porous plastic microfilter removes 99.9% of Cryptosporidium, Giardia. Only the finest quality coconut shell carbon is used in the production of the Aquamira micro filter to absorb chemicals, odors and improve the taste of the filtered water.

The “patent pending” design of the Frontier Pro filter system includes the unique Cap Strap™ cap system to retain the cap and protect the patented Bite Me™ valve from contamination along with providing a sure grip on the filter that fits comfortably in your hand. The filter casings are constructed of high impact FDA grade ABS plastic to assure long life even in harsh environments. The universal connectivity system allows connection to 28mm threaded bottles such as Platypus® and other light weight flexible bottles, and to any ¼” ID tube such as hydration drink tubes or the draw tube provided. You will be amazed that a filter this small can do so much.

With orders over £100 we cover all the costs of packaging and shipping to your UK mainland residence. Non UK mainland residence and European customers are charged delivery which can be calculated via the view shopping cart section of this site.

We double box orders over a 1 month supply carefully in easily storable boxes for maximum ease and simplicity for you. Sometimes tins can get dented in transit but this wont effect the food or the life of the product as long as the tin hasn't been pierced.

*We normally try to ship your product within 7-14 days of your order, depending on stock levels. Sometimes however, the food will have to be recooked as we only carry small stock levels, this is to maximise the life of the food to our customers. If the food has to be recooked it can take up to 12 weeks to be shipped. At any time you can login online and track the status of your order or call us for a update.

We use Three main shipping companies:

We use DHL for our Europe customers. This is by road and can take up to 7 days once the order has been dispatched. You will get a email when your order is dispatched.

We use UK Mail for all our UK and Ireland customers. Deliveries are usually the next day afer dispatch, but can take up to 2 days depending on your location.

We also use Royal mail on occasions for small UK and Europe orders.
